Meet the Blogger

Now that we’re a few weeks into the new year, I thought I’d take a few minutes to tell you all a little bit about me! My name is Megan, but I like to go by my alter ego Basic White Book on social media. I’m 29 years old (30 in two months OMG), and live in Chester County, Pennsylvania. I graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Organizational and Community Leadership, and I’m finishing up my MBA at Penn State. I work at Bentley Systems as a Marketing Programs Manager, and I’ve been there for … I can’t believe it… ten years! I started as an intern, and through a lot of twists and turns, found the job for me.

Welcome to 2019 my lovely bookish friends! It’s a new year, and I’ve decided to migrate over from a joint blog (you will be missed Nine to Twenty-Five!) to my very own space.

For the newbies visiting here, my name is Megan and I’m your average nerd trying to get on in this life. I love to read, write, boat, and generally live life to the very fullest. A few years ago, I started a bookstagram account to showcase some of those loves, which then morphed into writing a bit more.
