Hello book blog friends – I’M BACK, and it. has. been. A TIME. Since I last spoke with ya’ll, I’ve gotten married and helped get my new sister-in-law married too!
While I will very soon get back to book reviews – don’t worry, I’ve been busy but the reading has not stopped! – I just have to first gush a little bit about my new husband (ahhh), and show you a few little bookish touches we added to our special day.
Us newlyweds have been together for 14 years. We met in High School, and the rest is history. Life isn’t a fairy tale, and neither is our relationship… but it’s been pretty damn close. We went to separate colleges, lived apart on our own for a year post-graduation, moved in together, and are on house #2. We waited a long time to get engaged, and added 2+ years to the engagement before finally tying the knot – and it was worth the wait! We had a beautiful wedding with our closest family and friends. We threw in some boating themes (how do you think I get to read so much – on the boat!), and of course a few book related items. Check out the pictures (a few from my bookish bridal shower too) and wish us luck – on to the future!
