I think it’s time for another holiday round-up, don’t you?! TBH I’m not sure if I have feelings one way or another about Valentine’s Day, but I’m certainly not one to pass up having my girlfriends over on the 13th or putting something red on and going out to dinner on the 14th, so.. holiday it is! I’m looking to add a few more vday recs to my TBR, but here are a few of my own recs.
Captured by the Cupid by Emily Shore
One of my favorites, this book knocked my socks off – the second installation in a fabulous series of standalones. Emily Shore has just the most beautiful way of weaving trauma and healing into gorgeous prose with unexpected hilarity (seriously this book is FUNNY). It’s a monster romance with some amazing side characters and a heavy dose of darkness. In Shore’s own words: “If you love Valentine’s Day, you will love this book. If you hate Valentine’s Day, you will also love this book!” … and I did!
Cupid’s Chokehold by Dee Garcia
This book is just the best little vday novella. From the minute their cute butts are introduced, our FMC’s go from sexy little minxes to baddies who know what (& who!) they want. Everyone has a good time, us readers included! It’s fun, flirty, and festive. The perfect holiday feast, literally… – loved it!
Bleed for Cupid by Aiden Pierce
Another monster dark romance, this book is just plain old fun!! It’s a great short read perfect for the holidays (or really just if you want some spice in your life!). The storyline was unique, and the characters had more depth than I’d have thought possible with such little time to develop. Great quick read.
TBR:
Signs of Cupidity by Raven Kennedy
What’s on your list?! Clearly I need more…
