Lights Out: Review

I am EMBARRASSED to say how long this book took me to get through. I’ve found one of the hardest things to deal with as a mood reader is completely loving a book and just not being in the right mindset to read it! That said, thanks to the hard work of Libby’s renewal services, I had no excuse but to push through my mood and finish Lights Out – and boy, am I glad I did.

Highlights:
Aly has an internet crush – he’s mysterious, sexy, and stalker as hell-ish. So what happens when he sets his eyes on her?

What I thought:
This book was great. Objectively funny, carried by BOTH our main male and female characters, unique, and with some fun twists and turns I could not have ever predicted. Josh is amazing – I mean, he’s sexy, has a tragic and scary past, loves way harder than any normal person, and is probably going to be the best cat Dad that’s ever lived. Then there’s Aly – omfg what a riot she is! Like I’m sorry, she is one hundred times more badass than her ScArY mask-wearing hacker stalker, she just straight up is. If you’re a fan of Butcher & Blackbird, or even just like a little humor in your drama (with some smut!), you’ll want to check this book out. I’m not usually one for a TikTok viral sensation, but in this case, the masses weren’t wrong.

P.s. I listened to this, and the narration was amazing!
