I’m just here for a quickie (that’s what she said….) because you know I prefer to review duet’s as one and not individually. THAT SAID, I thought I’d come and say a little something about my latest read.
Highlights:
Cali gets caught in the crosshairs of a trio of men and their deadly games. Can she play to win, does she even want to? or will she lose the precious prize, her life.

What I thought:
This book was a lot deeper than I expected! Surface level it is what’s described – group smut with lots of primal play – but it’s actually a lot more complex. Each character has deep emotional and generational trauma and they deal with it as a group and individuals. As usual, I was torn between wanting our FMC to run for the hills at every turn, and becoming a little smushmellow wanting the demon puppy dog MMC’s to get their treat in the end. Alina May truly does a beautiful job just putting her characters THROUGH IT… oh wait, and her readers too 😉
