OMG, can I just say that I’ve read almost 30 books this year and it’s JUST April!! I honestly don’t know what’s going on, but I absolutely have not been doing anything BUT reading in my spare time. Literally, my Dad asked if I even still have a job – promise I do 😉
Anywho, I don’t know why I picked this book up. I even spent a whole Audible credit on it! It’s definitely popular on Booktok so I figured it was worth something, but I just kind of had a feeling – and WOW, was I right…
Highlights:
What happens when two serial killers get together and make a game of it? Hilarity, blood, gore, romance… basically, chaos ensues…
TW’s: murder, cannibalism, lobotomy, detailed sex, serial killers (& everything that goes with that…)
What I thought:
I legit cannot gush enough about this book. It’s funny as hell, gory, romancy, GOD, it has it all. I listened on audio and highly recommend you do so, if just for the male narrator (guys, I’m about to go find this man and stalk him…). As soon as they read the trigger warnings page, I about lost it laughing so hard. This book takes some very dark topics and makes them comical. It has a slow burn – seriously, prepare yourself because it’s so painful – but a satisfying ending. It’s a trilogy, but each book is a standalone with a HEA – and you know we are loving a HEA!! Seriously, go pick this book up. I might even relisten…
